Bespoke Handcrafted Japanese Wedding Photo Album with Blue Waves Pattern

The traditional waves pattern is one that is seen throughout Japan. Some call it a fish skin or cloud pattern but it is widely known to be waves from the ocean. This handmade "Waves" guestbook and photo album combines the most beautiful materials of Europe and Japan. It is ideal for storing your own photos or as a unique gift (e.g. for the birth of a baby or for a wedding).

The classic cover has a wonderful repeat waves pattern and is made of high-quality Chiyogami paper from Japan printed in traditional technique. The back is covered with a mustard-coloured bookcloth. The heavy cardstock pages of the album are separated by beautifully patterned glassine (pergamin) sheets to protect your photos and also to prevent any writing from transferring to the opposite page.

A satin ribbon to tie the album is optional. Please indicate when buying if you want the album to have such a bow.

To make this album even more more special, it can also be personalised with an embossed linen plaque, which increases the price by 13 GBP.
