Kitaken’s new series: the “Shizen” series is inspired by the marriage of simple natural forms, textures, japanese landscapes and traditional kakejiku wall hangings. The Kitaken design is printed onto natural linen using traditional technique and is stamped in the corner with a Kitaken “hanko”, a traditional japanese signature stamp. The inside album block is made with premium heavy paper from Italy. Each album page is separated by an additional beautifully patterned glassine (pergamin) sheet to protect your photos and also to prevent any writing from transferring to the opposite page. The back of the book is covered with a deep ebony bookcloth.
The album is available in all eight formats. However, please note that the composition of the design will slightly change if you choose to order the horizontal or vertical formats (formats 1-3, 5 & 6). The album was originally designed for the square format (23x23 cm, 30x30 cm) as shown in the product images.
A satin ribbon to tie the album is optional. Please indicate when buying if you want the album to have such a bow.
To make this album a little more special, it can be personalised by direct printing on the linen cover, which increases the price by 6 GBP.
